Celebrating 15 years!

FACT’s 2023 Annual Ball will be held at The Grand Hotel Gosforth on Saturday 14th October, 6pm till late, where we will be celebrating 15 fabulous years of FACT being able to support and help those affected by cancer in the North East. An enjoyable evening where our supporters, donors, fundraisers and friends get together for food, fun and dancing.

A drinks reception will be followed with a 4 course meal. Speeches sharing FACT’s successes and challenges over the past year. A live band and a disco.

There will be lots of fundraising activity including our huge tombola where you can win a fantastic prize with each visit. A raffle with prizes from weekend stays to hampers. A live and silent auction will also be held. This is FACT’s main fundraiser of the year!

FACT’s annual ball is run by a volunteer ball committee, Eileen who is part of the committee said “The ball last year was a great success, especially the tombola with over 700 prizes. The committee will be sourcing all of the prizes and vouchers ( from local businesses restaurants, galleries etc), of all shapes and sizes, and then we will be wrapping and preparing them for the evening, we are always on the look out for extra volunteers/pairs of hands to help with preparation before and on the night too”. Corporate tables are also available which will include sponsorship of the event. FACT will promote your company sharing your logo on social media and all literature that is created, a great way for your business to support a local charity.
